Our Therapist

Sarah has over 10 years’ experience working in specialist multidisciplinary child development and mental health services. She is passionate about providing creative and evidence-based interventions to meet the developmental and mental health needs of children, young people and families.

Sarah brings a systemic approach to her work; understanding that children and young people do not exist in isolation, but rather in the context of their families and communities.

A mother of two, lover of nature, and adorer of animals, you will find Sarah to be a calming and kind practitioner who connects with her clients and provides quality person-centred care.

Areas of Passion

Building resilience and strengthening kids and teens against anxiety:

Anxiety is a normal human experience; it is our brains way of keeping us safe. For some of us, anxiety can become overwhelming and impact our ability to engage with the world. The good news is that there are lots of effective strategies to take control of anxiety and move forward with confidence.

Supporting mental health and wellbeing within individuals and families:

With specialist training in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sarah can provide an integrated response to meet the needs of children, teenagers, and adults.

Helping neurodivergent children and young people to thrive:

Having worked as part of a team of child development specialists for over 10 years, including paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to holistically and creatively meet client’s identified needs and move toward their goals.

Working with families to create calmer, happier, and more connected homes:

Modern family life can be stressful as we try to meet our children’s needs whilst juggling a range of competing demands. For families navigating neurodevelopmental differences or mental health challenges, there’s often an additional layer of stress. Sarah can work with you as individuals, as parents, or as a family group to move towards improved relationships and family wellbeing.
