Mindfulness-based interventions

Emerging minds recently published some great evidence to support Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBIs) for self-regulation in young children.

From a systematic review of literature from 2010 to 2021, almost all studies found that MBIs are effective in improving at least one area of regulation (behavioural, emotional or cognitive).

The benefit of MBIs appeared strong among children with executive function challenges, behavioural problems and/or learning difficulties.
